Free Gift Box Templates For Wedding Favors
Make your own wedding favors with these free gift box templates. We'll show you how to take a plain gift box and decorate it so that it is sure to impress your guests. You could use these boxes as wedding souvenirs with your name and wedding date on them or as place cards with your guests' names on them. So if you are looking for some homemade wedding favor ideas, then check out these cute little boxes below.
Materials
- Cardstock in your preferred color
- Scissors
- Double-sided tape
Instructions
Print the wedding favor box template onto your colored cardstock paper. Then cut them out and fold them into boxes and use double-sided tape on the marked tabs. To make the bottom of the box more sturdy, we have provided 2 box liner options; one that says "Thank You" and one that is blank. You could emboss a stamp on the blank liner. To learn how to do this, go to our Embossing Stamps page. Then use double-sided tape to tape the liner to the bottom of the box. This will help to reinforce the box.

To decorate the wedding favor boxes as we did, cut your ribbon in 8" lengths. We used 7/8" wide ribbon. Place double-sided tape along the 4 corners (centered up and down). The tape basically only needs to be at the corners because as you fold the ribbon around each corner you want the ribbon to tightly hug the corners. To create the circle name tags, print the names to fit inside a 1-½" circle. We used a 1-½" circle punch. To make the paper daisy, check out our Daisy Pomander page. Then attach the daisy by poking the brad through the box lid. To make the fabric flower, check out our How to Make Fabric Flowers page. Attach the fabric flower to the box lid with hot glue. These boxes could be used for:

Pat Rogers Says: A very handy template...thanks for sharing it.Ftima Amorim Says: Ol, achei lindo adoro flors de papel, maravihoso. Parabns, abraos.(I love beautiful paper flowers, marvelous. Congratulations, hugs.) maggi Says: nice touchJessica Says: You can print the box template right from this page, and the flowers were made from a cut out stamp. I however made my own by making a pattern and cutting it out multipule times and added a button to the center. I then put the flower on top of the box. It came out extremly cute!Kelli from Holiday Crafts and Creations Says: Hi Tracy, If you're looking to buy the boxes rather than construct them, you can find them at many wedding favor stores online. But we would recommend you try Oriental Trading. They have 2" x 2" boxes in many different colors for a pretty good price. Hope this helps :)Tracy Says: Where would i be able to buy the boxes?nora Says: niceKelli from Holiday Crafts and Creations Says: Hi Janice, actually we do have the instructions on how to make both flowers shown. The links can be found right above these last two pictures. Thanks, and have fun making them :)JANICE Says: How do you make the flower on the box, there are no instructions for that one. I like that one.
